This event is open to family and children (ages 5-14). The holidays are tough enough for grieving families. Please join us for cookies, milk, crafts and support! This is a free event open to any family who is coping with the loss of a loved one. Activities will include reading "Grief is Like a Snowflake" and creating holiday themed crafts to honor our loved ones who have died. Santa will also be visiting this event!

Ornament Making & How to Beat the Holiday Blues The holidays are a time when people of all ages struggle with grief over loved ones they have lost. Maria from Hospice of Washington County will help teens learn to deal with their holiday gried and honor their loved ones by making ornaments. SSL hours may be earned during this event!
These are on-going, open support groups, available to any adult who has experienced the death of a loved one. The group meets the first and third Monday of each month from 10:30am.-12:00 noon and second and fourth Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:00p.m.
Adults who are grieving the death of a loved one by suicide is invited to this educational and healing workshop. Lunch will be served courtesy of donation from the Max Niessner Suicide Prevention Fund. Hospice of Washington County (HWC) is continuing to serve the community with Bereavement Services. HWC will host the Hearts of Hope Group via Zoom (an online video chat platform). Hearts of Hope is an on-going, open support group available to any adult who has experienced a death of a loved one.

This group is a six-week closed support group for adults who have lost a loved one to sustance abuse. It begins Wednesday night Sept. 18th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and ends on October 23rd and will be held at our main office at 747 Northern Ave. This group focuses on the many issues that arise whena loved one dies from an overdose. We will discuss the emotional, physical, and spiritual responses to this specific type of grief, as well as explore ways to manage the intensity of the pain...
