Hospice of Washington County is excited to bring back Celebrity Waiter, a special fundraiser benefiting our inpatient unit, Doey’s House, for its ninth year this fall! This year, longtime Washington County community leaders Andrew Serafini and Tom Newcomer will serve as our VIP Celebrity Waiters. For both Andrew and Tom, supporting hospice is about so much more than a night of fundraising—it’s personal. Their connections to Hospice of Washington County and Doey’s House run deep, making their involvement in this special event especially meaningful.

WJEJ Radio 1240 and host Lou Scally will return to the Middletown Valley Bank Operations Center (480 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown) on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the 14th Annual “Have A Heart for Hospice” Radio-Thon. All proceeds from the event will benefit Doey’s House, supporting compassionate, end-of-life care in the community.
